At Midnight Momentos, we bridge the physical and digital worlds. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us during the design and manufacturing of your bespoke mementos.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to design, manufacture, and ship your order. This includes:

  • Identity Data: Name, Job Title, Company Name.

  • Contact Data: Email address, Phone number, Mailing/Shipping address.

  • Design Data: Logos, brand assets, and specific URLs (links) intended for QR code generation.

  • Payment Data: We use third-party processors (e.g., QuickBooks, Stripe) to handle payments. We do not store your full credit card numbers on our local servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Production: To layout, laser-engrave, and quality-check your physical cards.

  • Consultation: To conduct the 30-Minute Design Session and communicate regarding proofs.

  • The Digital Vault: To archive your vector files and laser settings to facilitate fee-free reorders.

  • Shipping: To deliver your final product.

4. The Digital Vault (Data Retention)

One of our core services is the "Digital Vault."

  • How it works: We retain your finalized vector design files and laser calibration settings indefinitely. This allows you to request reorders (refills) without paying a new Design Session Fee. You also may request for the file for your own retention.

  • Your Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your files from the Vault at any time by emailing us. Please Note: If you choose to delete your files, any future orders will be treated as a New Project and will incur the standard Design Session Fee. If you have a copy of the file available to you 

5. QR Codes & Digital Integration

  • Destination Links: You provide the URL (web address) for the QR code. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of the website that your QR code links to.

  • Tracking: Unless explicitly stated in a specific package, we create "Direct" QR codes. We do not track, log, or analyze the geolocation or identity of the people who scan your physical business card.

6. Public Nature of the Product

You acknowledge that the information you provide for the face of the card (e.g., your phone number, email, title) is intended for public dissemination. Once the physical mementos are produced and delivered to you, Something to Remember is not responsible for how third parties use the information etched onto the cards.

7. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners.

  • Service Providers: We may share your data with trusted third parties solely for business operations (e.g., shipping carriers like UPS/FedEx, or accounting software like QuickBooks Online).

8. Security

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information and design files stored on our systems.

9. Changes to This Policy

We have the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the top of this page.
